We are inviting all of you paratroopers and family members as well, to send us your story. Could be long or short of one memory or of your life. Include at least one photo and we will review and post it onto our site if we think it is a fit. Here is the first edition, a daughter remembering her father…

“PFC Russell Foster was in the 82nd airborne 505 pir through the years of 1950-1953. He was from New Jersey and after the service he went back to The Garden State where he met my mom. Like myself her name too was Elizabeth. She was the love of his life and they had nine children together, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grand children at the moment. Russell was an extremely hard worker who always put his family first. He always said the best time of he life was when he was serving in 82nd airborne. His wife died on 9/26/92 and we lost my dad, Russell on 1/11/15 RIP”
